Key Stage 1 SAT’s

YEAR 2 SATs 2018

In the summer term 2016, new style the national curriculum tests (also known as SATs) changed in both Key Stages 1 and Key Stage 2 to reflect the changes to the National Curriculum, which were introduced in September 2014. The national curriculum test outcomes are now reported as scaled scores instead of levels.

At the end of Year 2, children will take SATs in:

  • Reading
  • English grammar, punctuation and spelling
  • Maths

When will the Key Stage 1 SATs take place?

The Key Stage 1 tests do not have set days for administration, but schools must administer them during the month of May 2017. An information letter will be sent home shortly with further information.
